Hello there!

My name is Mahlodi Letsie, and I am the Founder of Bare Mind.

The birth of Bare Mind is a tribute to bringing together different people, from various walks of life. We achieve this by bringing multifaceted people who are woven together by the unified golden thread of exploring their humanity.

Bare Mind is a space aimed at sharing inspiring real life stories covering a diverse range of topics within wellness and lifestyle. The space is dedicated to those who may be curious of actively embracing modern-day wellness, but not really knowing how to go about overcoming the perceived limitations of one’s mind.

Our aim is to empower all who happen to cross paths with us, to live their best lives from the inside out by tapping into the innate wisdom of our bodies.

The Bare Mind platform merges insights from the medical community, with a variety of ancient spiritual practices from different cultures, as a way of forming a new-age understanding of ourselves and the wider world that we live in.

Our aim is to provide you with thought provoking content, as a way of unlearning and relearning ourselves from a completely different light.

We believe that your mind is like a bare canvas and you are the artist holding the paintbrush. Every moment is an opportunity to create a beautiful work of art through your life and the experiences that you may encounter.

Therefore, the Bare Mind space is to pay homage: to show that we are all on a unified path of self-exploration, with each one of us assigning our own meaning to life.

1984

The stars aligned when a young nurse (who would later fulfill her dream of becoming a Dr) and a civil engineer 12 years her senior met at a Hugh Masekela concert. Sparks flew and at the end of the night, the gentleman asked to see the beautiful nurse again. She of course made him sweat and said that she was married. Two weeks passed, the gentleman called the beautiful nurse’s bluff and came to ask her out on an official date at her Nursing college where she was staying. Years later, I would come to know this dynamic duo as mom and dad.
